To celebrate our first month of living in Washington State, I’ve decided to post this blog with some of the best photos taken while busy rummaging through our stuff and settling in.
What has changed since we moved back to the US? For one I’m getting better at cooking (hah!) and I’m slowly starting to meet new friends for myself and Ava. I absolutely love our community in Snoqualmie Ridge! I look forward to taking advantage of the hiking trails and national parks in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos. I do hope you get the chance to see our hood. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have chosen Snoqualmie to live in!
THE MAJESTIC MOUNT RAINIER (14,411 feet). IT IS THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN WASHINGTON STATE AND THE CASCADE RANGE.
ONE OF THE BEAUTIFUL FARMS WE PASSED BY IN COVINGTON, WA ON OUR WAY TO MOUNT RAINIER
THE GARTHES WITH MOUNT RAINIER IN THE BACKGROUND. IT WAS FREEZING HERE!!!!
SNOQUALMIE COMMUNITY PARK. THIS IS WHAT ME AND AVA SEE EVERYDAY WHENEVER I TAKE HER OUT ON A BIKE RIDE.
THE BEAUTIFUL FALL COLORS OF OUR COMMUNITY. OUR HOUSE IS JUST BEYOND THE ROW OF HOUSES THAT OVERLOOK MOUNT SI (PRONOUNCED AS "SIGH")
TOOK THIS PHOTO OF THE FAMOUS SEATTLE SPACE NEEDLE. I SUDDENLY THOUGHT OF MY FAVORITE TV SHOW "GREY'S ANATOMY".
VIEW FROM THE TOP OF THE SEATTLE TOWER. JUST IN TIME BEFORE THE SUN SETS.
SNOQUALMIE FALLS, ABOUT 100 FEET HIGHER THAN NIAGARA FALLS
