USS CARL VINSON IN HONG KONG / Hong Kong Photographer

May 23, 2011. We boarded a ferry in Fenwick pier that brought us on a 30 minute ride to USS Carl Vinson- known worldwide as the burial ship of Osama Bin Laden.  About 200 guests attended the reception and we were able to see the inside of the aircraft carrier as well as the flight deck where we saw the F18s.

They served great American foodUSS CARL VINSON IN HONG KONG / Hong Kong Photographerand it was lovely seeing our friends from the US Consulate. We are proud to be part of the Consulate community. I also had the chance to meet and talk with the men and women of the US Navy.

I salute the US Navy and I couldn’t be any prouder. Sharing some of the photos taken using my Lumix point and shoot.
